Regions
North America
Trade and tariff policy, alliance commitments, border and immigration policy, and the fiscal and monetary divergence across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Europe
Energy security, the sanctions architecture, fiscal fragmentation, and monetary policy divergence between the euro area and the periphery. Coverage is currently narrowed to the four largest euro-area economies plus the United Kingdom, at the editor's direction; the remaining European states are not yet covered and are deliberately absent rather than stubbed.
Middle East & North Africa
Gulf energy policy and North African sovereign economics. The Levant, the Eastern Mediterranean, and Iran & Iraq are out of scope for now and are not represented here; this is a deliberate editorial cut, not an oversight.
Asia
India, China, Russia and Japan alongside the Southeast Asian manufacturing base: semiconductor and critical-mineral supply chains, trade architecture, and maritime supply routes. Central Asia, the Caucasus, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia and the rest of South Asia are out of scope for now.
Oceania & Pacific
Commodity exports, RBA policy, and Pacific financing arrangements. The Pacific island states are out of scope for now and are not represented here.
Global
Stories not primarily associated with one region.
